From the late 1970’s to the early 1990’s Martha presented concerts of dance works at numerous Downtown/NYC dance venues including Dance Theater Workshop, Dia Art Foundation, The Field at Pineapple Dance Studio, Merce Cunnigham Studio, Saint Marks Danspace, PS 122 among others. She was the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New Jersey State Arts Council, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, the Harkness Foundations for Dance, the Mertz Gilmore Foundation and many others. In addition, her works were presented on tour both nationally and internationally.
